Who is AC Tech?

AC Tech VFD Drives carried by TEMCo are produced by the Lenze-AC Tech company.  They produce Industrial drives and controls; part of an overall specialty in developing motion control systems.  This company is the largest American producer of small AC drives in the United states.   It is part of the Lenze AG group that exceeds 60 years in motion management history.  Their commitment to service, quality and fast supply lines (standard or custom-order) makes their AC Tech VFD Drives an ideal product line for TEMCo to offer to our clients. 

History of AC Tech and Lenze

AC Technology Corporation was founded in 1984.  From its inception AC Tech's growth was a phenomenon.  They attribute this to a strong personal commitment to quality, innovation and value.  The first commercially offered state-of-the-art Intelligent Power Module (IPM) was released by AC Tech.  The Electronic Programming Module (EPM) is also a product of AC Tech ingenuity.

Lenze began formation in the years 1947-1949, specializing in mechanical drive technology.  In the years up through 1959 innovation and expansion into gearboxes and geared motors is emphasized.  By 1968 much expansion occurs and in that year electronic drive controllers are introduced.  In 1977 the first frequency inverter designed for controlling 3 phase AC motors is launched.  The company expands into the worldwide market.  The decade of the 80s sees more expansion and near the end of that time microprocessors are introduced for frequency inverters.  Innovative intelligent drives advance into the market, allowing automation of drives.  In 1999 AC Technology Corporation joins the Lenze Group.  The new millennia sees further expansion and innovative new drives being offered.
